Light, fast and ingeniously equipped, the Fryedis 49 Croiseur in Performance and Owner version is a true bluewater cruiser for experienced sailors, still easy to manoeuvre. Her bows allow a maximal water length, the fine entries give high performance in light wind with daily runs above +250nm. Her average cruising speed is therefore situated at around 10kn, still with a high margin of safety and comfort at sea.
Equipped with a rotating wing mast in carbon (height 20m) built by the shipyard using vacuum bagging and post cure technic, a 93m² square head mainsail associated with a self-tacking jib, both in Hydranet, makes going to windward easy and comfortable even single handed.
The twin outboard helms, connected with cables, gives the helmsman a great vision of the sails and opens up the cockpit. Sensations and pleasure guaranteed. The hulls and the deck are built in sandwich, foam and Vinylester, insurance for a very stiff structure and lack of osmosis.
Her equipment is set up for live aboard and long ocean passages; watermaker, laundry machine, fridge, freezer, solar panels, genset and a 3,10m RIB with a 15hp. The ground tackle and the engines are well proportioned and the set of electronic navigation aids is complete, including a radar and a second autopilot. The Coppercoat, applied in 2020, will for many more years spare you annual haulouts.
A very rare, fast cruising catamaran, fully equipped and cared for by an experienced and demanding owner.
