History and Design
Carefully crafted and designed, “Poe Miti” is the result of a close collaboration between its current owner and naval architect Ron Given. Over the course of a year, the initial design was optimized to meet the highest standards of performance and comfort. Built by Life Style Yachts in New Zealand, the boat set sail for New Caledonia in 2013.
Upgrades and Features
Since her launch, “Poe Miti” has undergone constant improvements and meticulous maintenance. The cockpit was extended by one meter to include a large freezer, a fighting chair, two live bait tanks, and various equipment for deep-sea fishing. The spacious interior comfortably accommodates its crew with three double cabins, a large bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen.
Technical Specifications
In March 2022, the boat was fitted with two Yanmar 250 hp engines, offering both power and fuel efficiency, and they remain under warranty. The vessel is armed and certified by Veritas in Category B, allowing navigation up to 200 nautical miles from a shelter. With her impressive fuel autonomy, watermaker, and solar panels, “Poe Miti” is fully equipped for long-range exploration in complete independence.
